Next Generation Digital Services,

NGDS are those services that should logically follow the deployment of Voice over IP on a Unified Communications capable network. Voice over IP deployment creates/requires certain attributes be present in the network. However, most networks capable of carrying VoIP traffic now have additional capacity to carry other applications that can benefit Small and Medium sized businesses.

In addition, it is possible to have the same appliance that hosts the VoIP application itself, host other applications. In one case of a small ten user network the Voice over PBX, the PBX was running at less than 5% CPU utilization, leaving significant processing power available for other applications.

As more business critical applications become IP based, it simply no longer makes sense to build separate disparate networks to support multiple applications. The cost savings of hosting multiple IP applications on a single UC capable managed network are significant, both in initial CapEx investment and in ongoing OpEx maintenance.

Video Surveillance,

IP Video Surveillance has the ability to eclipse the capabilities of older style analog Video Surveillance. Analog Video Surveillance's quality degrades over distance, so a camera placed 500 feet away from the DVR suffers significant image quality loss before it is recorded... in some cases becoming effectively worthless. IP Video Surveillance sends the image digitally, so it is recorded perfectly.

TenX Networks is one of the few companies in the country who understands how to build and deliver WIRELESS Video Surveillance systems that can allow cameras to be placed even MILES away from the recording point.

TenX wireless solutions allow us to build robust (more cameras than other implementations) Video Surveillance networks that can operate effectively in a variety of Physical and RF environments. We are able to run Video Surveillance connection backhauls in 900MHz, 2.4GHz, 3.65GHz, 4.9GHz (only for qualified municipal entities) and 5.0-5.8GHz. We can provide redundant point to point links (for critical remote video), or facilitate up to 8 video streams on a single "RF pipe". Many believe that Wireless Video Surveillance "does not work"... let us prove them wrong for you.

Centralized Backup,

A number of companies have begun to specialize in remote offsite back up. While this works fine in many cases, there are a number of instances where this is a less than perfect option for many Small Businesses, specifically where:

  • there is inadequate upload speed available to the business (i.e. 1.5mbps down, 600Kup)
  • the business owner does not wish to have their data out of their own control

TenX Networks solves this by providing localized backup solutions that allow the business owner to take advantage of faster/cheaper on premise connectivity.

Digital Signage,

As more people utilize web based entertainment services (Hulu/Netflix/Pandora) and/or view their content via their DVR's, television advertising dollars are looking for "new homes" that are more effective in reaching their targeted customers. Industry estimates are that 60% or more of purchasing decisions are made "on site", but currently less than 10% of advertising revenues are spent on business premises. That is about to change, and the combination of Internet Connectivity and Digital Signage systems are leading the way.

As another IP based service that can reside on the same network running your VoIP and Video Surveillance solutions, Digital Signage actually has the potential to increase sales (and MDF & Coop participation). Advertisers will pay to display their content at your business premise. Partnerships can be built between complementary businesses (hotels & pizza delivery, or golf shops and golf resorts). Digital signage is in its infancy, and advertising dollars will continue to flow to those who have the infrastructure that can display it.

Voice over IP,

Voice over IP telephony is currently used by less than 5% of Small Businesses, but is projected to be used greater than 50% of the SMB Market by 2015. TenX has solved the key components that have held back VoIP adoption in the SMB Market:

  • Redundant Additive IP Connections
  • Inexpensive underlying Unified Communications Network components
  • Powerful, Flexible Inexpensive PBX's

TenX Networks has solved these problems, inexpensively and effectively. More important, however, than the cost savings that most people know VoIP for being able to provide, is the tremendous power of a completely flexible and configurable Voice over IP Services engine that will allow SMBs to look and perform like a Fortune 500 company.
